The structure and type of the drum of the belt conveyor
The drum group is an important part of the belt conveyor. According to the role played by the conveyor, the drum can be divided into two categories: the transmission roller and the change drum. The driving cylinder is used to transmit the torque supplied by the driving device to the conveyor belt. The reformed roller includes a steering wheel, a tightening roller and a guide roller for the transfer end of the conveyer belt, an increase of the drum angle of the driving drum, a tightening roller and a guide roller for the tightening device. The roller group consists of roller shaft, bearing block, wheel hub, spoke plate and shell part. Some rollers also have connectors for wheels and roller shafts, wheels and spoke plates. Generally, the drum of the transmission roller is covered with rubber or ceramic to increase the friction coefficient between the driving roller and the conveyor belt.
Spherical roller bearings are commonly used for roller bearings.
1 drive mode
A external drive, that is, the driving device is placed outside the transmission roller, and the reducer is directly connected with the input shaft of the transmission roller.
B drive inside, all of the driving device will be placed in the transmission drum, which is also known as the electric drum. If only the reducer is installed in the cylinder, it is called the gear roller, or the externally installed deceleration drum, which is suitable for the high-power belt conveyor.
The size and load of the inner hole of the 2 bearing
A light aperture in 50~100MM. The structure of the light roller is the interference fit between the shaft and the wheel hub, and the welded plate and the cylinder shell are fully welded, wherein the hub and the shaft interference fit connection key structure is used for the transmission roller.
B medium size aperture in 120~180MM. The structure of the medium roller is that the shaft is connected with the hub with a ring locking device, and the spoke plate and the cylinder shell are all welded.
C heavy-duty aperture in 200~220MM. The structure of the heavy drum is that the hub and the shaft are connected with the ring locking device, and the casting welding plate is welded with the shell. The roller of this structure is a part of the shell, and the chassis of the spoke and hub is welded into another part of the shell.
D engineering roller is a specially designed roller to meet the load conditions of special conveyor rollers. Because of its high strength and low extensibility, the high tension conveyer belt makes these rollers much higher than the steel rollers used in the general fabric core conveyor belt. Starting, braking and other dynamic loads are transmitted directly to the drum. When it comes to high tension, the concentricity of the drum and the accuracy of the roller and the conveyor are very important. Special emphasis should be placed on the structural bearing of the roller must be accurate against the load concentration in the middle and the overload caused by the misalignment.
The A drum drum is welded by steel coils. The middle part of the drum is larger than the diameter of the two sides of the cylinder by about a few millimeters. The purpose is to prevent the conveyor belt from running away.
The B blade roller drum is made up of many horizontal blades, which is easy to clean the conveyor belt. This kind of roller is also called self cleaning drum. If the blade is changed to a round bar, it is called a rod roller. Naturally, cylindrical steel shells can also be opened on transverse grooves or self cleaning. Such rollers are called grille rollers.
The surface of the drum of C grooved drum has a rhombus, a human shape, a straight line, a ring and a trapezoid groove. It is called a roller with a variety of surface shapes such as rhombus and human face. The purpose is to increase the friction coefficient and facilitate the discharge of the adhesive material. Rhombus and human shape are often used in the face of the transmission roller.
4 working functions
In order to increase the friction between the conveyor belt and the cylinder, the A vacuum drum is equipped with a vacuum pump or an external vacuum pump to make the conveyor belt vacuum with the drum angle and increase the friction. However, due to its complicated structure, vacuum drum has not been popularized.
The magnetic roller of the B magnetic drum is equipped with magnets, such as the magnetic tape covering the lower layer of the conveyor belt, and the friction force can be increased according to the attraction of the opposite sex. When using the ordinary conveyor belt, the magnetic roller becomes the iron removal cylinder.
The C cylinder roller is made of many ceramic plates. On the one hand, it can increase friction, and on the other hand, it is easy to clean. Ceramic sheets can also be made into plug-in plates for easy replacement.
The main advantages of drum rubber are the large friction coefficient on the surface of the steel roller. According to its surface shape, the rubber roller can be divided into: light bread glue roller, herringbone groove grooved rubber roller and diamond shaped rubber roller.
